On wednesday 11th hour On MSNBC, during part of the ongoing war in Ukraine, Stephanie Ruhel claimed that it was a “far-right” statement that the United States was not doing anything to help Ukraine, as if there were “significant numbers of people far away” – exactly who claimed to help Ukraine. Nothing is being done.
“There are reports that people are falling for inclusion in the media – that the United States is not doing much to help Ukraine. That is not true.” Ruhle claims when the segment starts. He then listed the various weapons and other military supplies that the Biden administration was providing to Ukraine so that they could successfully fight Russian aggression in their country.
Turning to Eugene Daniels, editor of the Politico Playbook, he asked indifferently, “Isn’t the White House already doing a lot strategically?” To which Daniels replied, “Absolutely not.” Apparently, he had forgotten that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had repeatedly asked the Biden administration to impose sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin before invading Ukraine, as well as his repeated requests to allow the transfer of warplanes from Poland. Provided.
Despite that, Daniels has still been done with enough emphasis “Working to build an alliance of countries around the world. As well as Try[ing] To work with our allies and determine what sanctions will work to keep this alliance together. “
Ruhel then jumps in again and claims: “It’s a far-right statement that the United States is not doing anything. And the same Republican lawmakers who are pushing for President Biden to step down are the same people who didn’t want Trump to do anything.”
This is, of course, a Straman argument, with no one claiming that the United States is doing anything to help Ukraine. But there are many in Congress, including the bipartisan majority, who do not believe the Biden administration is doing enough to support that country.
Apparently the Conservatives are done throwing rubbish, Ruhel changes gears. “Great combination “. By Biden administration. He turned to his other guest, former ambassador William Taylor “Can you talk about President Biden – has he done a good job of uniting our allies around the world? From my small seat, it seems like a wonderful, coordinated effort.”
Presumably, Taylor claims: “The coordination has been great, Stephanie. A colleague of General McCaffrey, General Doug Luke, who knows something about the increase in the military, saw it as a diplomatic upsurge. President Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Austin, he has never seen such intense, consistent, high-level, periodic diplomatic activity – it’s an amazing emergence, an amazing achievement. “
Ruhel then rolled up the segment and went on a commercial break.

Stephanie Ruhel: Eugene, I want to start with you. There is a story that people are falling for in the media – that the United States is not doing much to help Ukraine. That’s not true. For information, please see this list. 800 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 9,000 anti-armor systems, including 2000 javelins, 7000 rifles, machine guns, shotguns, grenade launchers, 100 drones. And 20 million rounds of ammunition. And I didn’t even mention the big sanctions that are crippling their economy so much that Putin has to admit in his speech today. Isn’t the White House already doing a lot strategically?
Eugene Daniels: Absolutely not. And not to mention what happened before the attack began. Right? Working to form an alliance of countries around the world to do exactly the same thing. Trying to determine what sanctions would work to form and keep this alliance with our allies, because it has become even more dangerous because it has become too dangerous for countries to give Ukraine what it can do. And the things you outlined today, just, now extra things, this country has helped Ukraine a lot in the last few months and years, because they are dealing with what is happening with Russia. And that aspect of it, I think, is lost a lot of the time because people are seeing all these horrible, horrible images of babies, pregnant women, attacking people, who are obviously not in the army or not. . And so it means that people are saying, well, what are we doing to help? And don’t admit that all that has been done.
The administration knows this, they know people are coming to the United States, and they say they should do more. That is why they are continuing their work. This is why you are watching the President go to Europe next week to make sure that everyone knows that he is still there and that this country is still trying its best to make it clear that what is happening in Ukraine will not stop and America will continue. We get the resources to move forward.
Ruhel: The situation on Ukrainian soil is devastating. But we should remind our listeners that this is an ultra-right narrative that pushes the United States to do nothing. And those same Republican lawmakers who are pushing for President Biden to step down are the same people who didn’t want to do anything to Trump.
(…)
RUHEL: Before we left, Ambassador Taylor, just what General was referring to, you know Europe is uniting, can you talk about President Biden – has he done a good job of uniting our allies around the world? From my small seat, it feels awesome, the combination.
William Taylor: The coordination has been great, Stephanie. A colleague of General McCaffrey, General Doug Luke, who knows something about the increase in the military, noticed that it was a diplomatic upsurge. President Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Austin, he has never seen such intense, consistent, high-level, over-the-top diplomatic activity – it’s an amazing rise, an amazing achievement. I worked in NATO at a time when there were 16 countries, now there are 30. And putting them together is a challenge. And then you got Japanese and South Korean and Australian. It has been a major endeavor, and it has been a great success.
