Zero Class: MSNBC segment kills Fox reporters about Trump

The sad news came on Tuesday when Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakarzevsky and local journalist Oleksandra Kuvshinova were killed while covering the war in Ukraine. As part of MSNBC’s coverage Deadline: White HouseLiberal host Nicole Wallace and journalist Sebastian Junger cover what they consider to be an important cornerstone of the story and the person who presumably put it together: Donald Trump.
The section got off to a good start with the bravery of the war correspondents. Wallace was surprised at first: “We’re so dependent on them, we depend on them for what we know. , When to sleep, when they are available to tell us what they are watching.
Jangar noted the importance of journalism, “[t]There is no free society, no democracy, and there is probably no peace without the free flow of information without journalists. “But then, things became irrational:
And, you know, I think – it – that takes that feeling to the next level and actually illuminates it to see what kills journalists. It is enlightening to consider who you are, if you believe, who you are in bed with. You know, you are – you – in bed with Vladimir Putin, with Saudi Arabia, this – with ISIS. That’s where that feeling goes and – and – it’s toxic in this country and you know, very clearly, at the moment, world independence depends on what is happening in Ukraine and we rely on journalists to find out what’s going on there, so our government can do better. Decide. So, you know, let’s – let’s – let’s set up our house if we order. If we do, we will greatly help ourselves and the world.
Wallace follows in detail, “And obviously, he – he – your name has not been released, I will – I will – there will be spoiler warnings, Donald Trump has famously called journalists the enemy of the people.” Its editor New York Bar Went to see him and sued that it is not the journalists here, exclusively, but in your opinion, the journalists around the world who do not work in a free society.
War correspondents are incredibly brave, and in contrast to the media’s behavior in Trump’s years, those reporters actually gave their lives to bring the news, but they are not at all comparable to the biased talking heads present on MSNBC. Criticizing people working in the security of the New York or Washington office does not enable one to put in Putin or ISIS. As disgusting as Wallace and Janger’s remarks were, they were seldom alone in politicizing the deaths of Zakarzevsky and Kuvshinova.

MSNBC’s Deadline: White House
03/15/2022
4:41 AM ETNicole Wallace: Yes. We depend on them, we depend on them for what we know. And – and – as I said, the reporters we’ve covered over the last two weeks, Richard Engel and Cal Perry, are available to tell us when to go to bed, what to watch. Your thoughts on how important that work is and what journalists think of themselves, why do they do it?
Sebastian Junger: There is no free society, no democracy, and perhaps there can be no peace without the free flow of information without journalists. And, you know, in the last few years in this country, it has become appealing to some people to call journalists the enemy of the people.
Wallace: And obviously, he – he – was anonymous by you, I will – I will – be a spoiler alert here, Donald Trump famously called journalists the enemy of the people. Its editor New York Bar Went to see him and sued that it does not endanger journalists here, exclusively, but in your opinion, journalists around the world who do not work in a free society and – and – I wonder your thoughts on this exit. I mean, the New York Times They vacated the Moscow bureau, CNN did the same, BBC, Bloomberg. What initiates that?
