YouTube suspends RSBN just days before Georgia Trump rally – Indy News
Just days before setting up the network to broadcast Trump’s rally in Georgia, YouTube suspended the Right Side Broadcasting (RSBN) account. “On Tuesday afternoon, we were informed that our ability to upload livestreams and content has been suspended for one week after YouTube deleted two of our videos for allegedly violating their company policy,” the network wrote in a statement.
YouTube’s enforcement action against RSBN marked the second instance in less than a month. The account was locked in early March after Trump delivered a CPAC speech. The right-hand side was forced to delete the video, which garnered more than 4 million views, because it violated YouTube’s “election misinformation” policy. The network was finally locked from their account for two weeks.
Videos censored by YouTube include President Trump’s interview with RSBN, as well as an interview with US envoy Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA).
“In defiance of our First Amendment rights, YouTube claims that these videos lack ‘lecture misinformation’ and ‘insufficient’ context to guarantee their removal,” the network said in response to YouTube’s action. “Blatant big tech censorship will not stop RSBN from livestreaming President Trump’s upcoming rally in Georgia. We are fully prepared to move on to Rumble with all day live coverage. We will not allow the voices of President Trump and his supporters to be silenced.
Since the 2020 election, the RSBN has rallied dozens of Trump rallies and related electoral integrity. As a result, they have been the victims of a relentless big technology censorship campaign across numerous platforms. In addition to YouTube, RSBN’s account has been suspended several times by Twitter
Rumble responded to the ban by saying that they were looking forward to hosting the stream on their platform. “RSBenetwork has announced that YouTube has suspended them and will transfer all live coverage to the Rumble for President Donald J. Trump’s rally in Georgia this Saturday,” the YouTube contestant wrote in a tweet. “The last time this happened, RSBN almost crashed our servers. Let’s try it again. “
