‘Your Warsaw will disappear in a split second’ – threatens Russian-speaking chiefs

On Tuesday, Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, told CNN’s Christian Amanpur that Russia would use nuclear weapons if it faced a “threat to its existence.”

Dmitry Peskov is not the only Russian official to threaten the West.

Russian military expert Igor Korochenko warned on Russian television that “the West will never lift sanctions on Russia … it is war.” What should be our response? Strategic nuclear weapons as battlefield weapons … “

The United States and its Western allies declared war on Russia last month when they broke up its stock market and imposed tough economic sanctions on the country following the invasion of Ukraine.
