(Washington DC) – Michael Isikoff, a longtime Washington media veteran, was trolled on social media this week after a report in the New York Times confirmed that the gruesome information gathered from the abandoned laptop of President Hunter Biden was legitimate.
Isikoff, who now works for Yahoo News, had previously questioned the validity of the information, which was first published by the New York Post in October 2020, as claimed by most mainstream media and elected Democrats and left-leaning news pundits. By saying that it was planted by Russia.

The Times reported that Hunter Biden, who was under federal investigation for tax fraud and other tax-related matters, told a colleague that his IRS bill, which exceeded $ 1 million, had been taken care of, but would have to be removed. It is a loan to pay off.
Nevertheless, he is still under investigation for other possible tax violations “as well as foreign lobbying and money laundering rules,” the paper noted, adding:
People familiar with the investigation say prosecutors examined emails about Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activities. The emails came from a cache of files obtained by The New York Times that appeared to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden at a Delaware repair shop. Emails and others in the cache were known to them and verified through investigation.
Isikoff’s confession did not go unnoticed on social media.
Brother, either you are trolling us or you are one of the most biased hackers claiming the title ‘Journalist’.

And once you prove why no one will believe you. Hunter never denied that it was his laptop. From the first day it was known that it was really his. It has been known since day 1 that the “Russian confusion” line was just a BS conspiracy to help Biden in the election because it was harmful.

It was a failure by many in the media. Just say it. Intentional failure to make them work. DC

Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz also hired reporters after this week’s Times report, noting that it was “an embarrassment for the media” to dismiss Biden’s laptop story as a Russian hoax based on claims by former intelligence officials, “many of whom were Democrats. “There was no first knowledge” to support the claim.
Kurtz said in his Media Buzzmeter podcast:
Two weeks before the 2020 election, Politico ran a section saying, “Hunter Biden’s story is told by Russian Disinfo, dozens of former Intel executives.” Yes, they all signed a letter. They had no daily knowledge. And this was a counter-attack and Joe Biden accepted that it was all Russian confusion. Except, apparently, the emails are real and it’s not like you can trim on Russians. A
So, looking back, this is an embarrassing thing. It’s an embarrassment for the media to come running and pretend that it’s not a story or to say, well, yes, it’s a story, but it’s not really a story or to say it’s really just Russian confusion, when it was clearly a then-Democratic The son of the nominee, a legitimate story about a federal investigation into the current U.S. president. Will there be any soul-searching with this now? Of course not.
