White House covers 48,000 documents on Scottish nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson

The Senate confirmation hearing for Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson began Monday morning.
Senate Judiciary Ranking Member Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed Monday that the White House has covered 48,000 documents of Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Grassley, as vice chairman of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, expressed his frustration at being unable to obtain Judge Jackson’s documents, which required release.
Democrats are blocking GOP efforts to obtain Jackson’s documents.
“The Obama White House has sent us 68,000 pages of material, but more than 38,000 duplicate copies out of 68,000 pages …” Grassley said.
He added, “The White House still holds 48,000 pages under presidential records and FOIA exemptions – much of which is now hidden.”
