Twitter continues its Babylon B purge, suspending satirical outlets

Earlier this week, the Babylonian bee caught the wrath of warriors who woke up on Twitter when satirical outlet Biden presented its “Man of the Year” award to Rachel Levine, assistant secretary of health.

The joke, which was apparently a parody of USA Today’s awarding of Levin’s “Woman of the Year” award, was not well received by Twitter’s Speech Police, who hit the bee’s account with a ban on “malicious behavior” for violating the platform’s rules.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has issued the Covid Argy Regulation of Choice: Cover a face, avoid kissing, and wash your hands frequently.

Kyle Mann, the editor-in-chief of The Babylon B, was the latest victim of Twitter’s heavy-handed censorship after he dared to make a joke at the expense of the oppressive Big Tech platform, after suspending the main account of the satirical outlet on Sunday.

In response to the bee’s punishment, Mann ridiculed Twitter’s completely arbitrary criteria for choosing to censor, jokingly saying that if they pulled out a page from the Communist Chinese playbook and “threw a few,” they could be allowed back into the bee’s main account. ” Thousands of Uyghurs in concentration camps.

Mann’s tweet was quickly flagged by Twitter – also for breaking its rules against “hate speech”.

Babylon B CEO Seth Dillon announced the dismissal of Mann in a tweet on Tuesday.

Both Mann and Bee’s accounts are recoverable after 12 hours have elapsed, but according to Dillon, the clock doesn’t start until the suspension-initiating tweets are deleted, which won’t happen.

Dillon joined Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday night and denounced Twitter for suspending the outlet’s account. He has no intention of taking down his tweet, even at the risk of losing the ability to post permanently, as it would be tantamount to “bending the knee” to Twitter’s awakened ideology.

Dillon explained:

No, we are not. It’s like telling us 2 + 2 = 5. We’re sitting here looking at this email asking us to restore our account and gain access to being able to tweet again, we need to delete this tweet. And the tweet is a joke, it’s the first thing to get straight here. It’s satire, it’s just a joke. It’s pretty innocent. It’s definitely not hurting anyone and it’s a government official.

They are basically telling us to bend our knees and say ‘We admit that this is disgusting behavior, please put us on your platform.’ And we’re not going to do that, so we don’t know where this end is. We’re going through an appeal process, but we’re not going to delete the tweet. “

Clock:

The bee is just ringing – don’t go back to the waking crowd.
