The United States and the European Union have announced a joint force to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian gas.

The United States and the European Union have announced that the two forces will join forces to help remove Europe from Russia’s dependence on gas.

As reported by Fox News, Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leven announced the task force on Friday.

Biden said Putin used force to “coerce and manipulate his neighbors” and to profit from the sale of “his war machine.”

He added that this would not only “do the right thing from an ethical point of view” but would “put us on a strong strategic footing.”

The White House said in a statement that the task force “will work to ensure energy security for Ukraine and the EU in preparation for the coming winter and will support the EU’s goal of ending its dependence on Russian fossil fuels next.”

The United States and other countries will increase liquefied natural gas exports to Europe by 15 billion cubic meters this year under new plans.

“It will take some time to adjust the gas supply chain and infrastructure built over the last decade, so we need to make sure that European families can spend this winter and next time building an infrastructure,” he said. For a diverse, resilient and clean energy future, “Biden said.
