Ted Cruz Grylls Ketanji Brown Jackson, who can’t define the word ‘woman’ –

Biden’s nominee for Supreme Court judge, Ketanji Brown Jackson, said he could not define the word “woman” when asked by Senator Marsha Blackburn on Tuesday.

Wednesday, Sen. Ted Cruz continues to grill the nominee about basic biology, asking if he can identify him as an Asian man.

“Let me ask,” Cruz began. “As a judge, how do you determine if Article III stands to challenge a gender-based rule, regulation, policy if a plaintiff is not able to determine what a woman is?”

Jackson insisted that he knew he and Blackburn were both women.

“If I decide now that I am a woman, then obviously I am a woman. Does that mean I can stand up to Article III to challenge a gender-based restriction? “

“But let me ask, under modern leftist sensitivities, if I decide now that I am a woman, and apparently I am a woman. Does that mean I can stand up to Article III to challenge a gender-based restriction? “

Jackson declined to comment, saying “these kinds of issues are working through the courts and I am not able to comment on them.”

“Well, if I could change my gender, if I could be a woman, and if an hour later I decide that I am no longer a woman, I assume I will lose the position of Article III,” she said. “Tell me, does the same principle apply to other protected features? For example, I am a Hispanic. Can I decide that I am an Asian? Can I be an Asian man and challenge Harvard discrimination because I made this decision?

Jackson again declined to answer, saying, “Senator, I can’t answer your question. You’re asking me a guess. “

“I’m asking you how you would evaluate standing if I came in and said I identified myself as an Asian man.”

Jackson said he would “evaluate other legal issues as I stand, listening to the parties’ arguments, considering the relevant precedents and constitutional principles, and making a decision.”
