Rabid Democrats call on Justice Thomas to acquit himself of Jan. 6 lawsuit

Rabbid Democrats are now urging Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to withdraw from any January 6 lawsuit because his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Thomas, exercised her First Amendment rights to friends in private texts related to the 2020 election.
Recall that on Thursday, January 6, the committee leaked Ginny Thomas’ text exchange with Mark Meadows to the Washington Post because her husband had been hospitalized with an infection.
The text messages exchanged between Ginny Thomas and Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, are unusual.
The media, however, is making a feeding frenzy on Ginny Thomas’s gentle text messages that are completely covered by the First Amendment.
Many Democrat lawmakers are now urging Clarence Thomas to withdraw from the Jan. 6 lawsuit because he sent text messages to his wife, Mark Meadows, urging her to fight for Trump and expose electoral fraud.
NBC News reports:
Democrats on Friday called on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to withdraw from the Jan. 6 lawsuit, saying his wife texted then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to challenge Donald Trump’s defeat in the election.
Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Or., Says that in light of reports of text messages traded between Ginny Thomas and Meadows after the 2020 election, “Justice Thomas’s behavior in the Supreme Court appears to be increasingly corrupt.”
“Justice Thomas has been involved in cases involving Donald Trump’s fraud and subsequent attempts to overthrow the 2020 election, while his wife was pressuring him to do the same,” Weiden said. He added that Justice Thomas should “withdraw from any case related to the January 6 investigation, and that Donald Trump should run again in any case related to the 2024 election.” In the light of the ongoing number of criminal and civil cases related to the riots in particular, a wide spread would be unprecedented.
