The problem is that CEO Bob Chapek has failed to get his nose in the Florida voters’ business. To do so, he had to go to Disney’s in-house Gestapo, and at their request the company seceded from Florida, stopped donating to conservative politicians and created “an LGBTQIA + brand”, making the mouse even more vulnerable, among other things. Meanwhile, conservative Disney activists have sent an open letter to the company, urging Disney to return to something like political neutrality. The Walt Disney Company has become an increasingly uncomfortable place for us to work for those whose political and religious views are not explicitly progressive. Over the past few weeks, we have seen our leadership condemn them for the laws and policies we support. We, as our colleagues, have made sure that no one in the company can possibly disagree with them, becoming increasingly aggressive in their demands. They emphasize that the TWDC takes a firm stand not only on this issue but also on other laws and openly supports the punishment of employees who do not agree with them.

The letter added: “As politicization makes its way into our content and public messaging, our more conservative customers will feel similarly unwelcome. You can only promote or humiliate your audience before they decide to spend their money elsewhere. . ”

That’s right. But the truth is, while Disney has been joking around with conservative and religious parents for so long, those customers either stopped spending their money with the mouse years ago, either in Stockholm Syndrome.
