NY Post calls 51 detectives ‘experts’ who will not apologize for disrespect

(New York, NY) – The New York Post’s editorial board is calling dozens of U.S. intelligence community “experts” who have all claimed that paper reporting on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election was “Russian confusion”, noting that they still apologize for their misleading remarks.

Under the headline, “Spies who lie: 51 ‘intelligence’ experts refuse to apologize for disrespecting true Hunter Biden’s story,” editorial board rips between them to claim “shuffle” but acts very biased, in favor of the Democratic president. Candidates in the 2020 elections.

In addition, the editors blasted intelligence officials, saying that the post’s exclusive report on the contents of Biden’s laptop just weeks before the election was probably “Russian confusion” – a final false claim echoed by major media outlets.

The editorial begins:

They are supposedly non-partisan groups of top spies for the best interests of the nation.

But 51 former “intelligence” officials who, in a public letter, expressed doubts about Hunter Biden’s laptop stories in the post, were really desperate to elect Joe Biden as president. And more than a year later, even after repeatedly denouncing their deep-state sabotage, they refuse to acknowledge how they undermined an election.

Officials, including CNN scholar and professional fabricator James Clapper – a man who was almost indicted [with] False accusation of lying to Congress – signed a letter stating that the laptop “contains the classic mark of the Russian intelligence operation.”

In the letter, intelligence officials acknowledged that they did not know for sure whether Russia was involved in providing evidence on the laptop.

We would like to emphasize that we do not know whether the emails provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, are genuine and whether we have any evidence of Russian involvement. – Our experience alone makes us deeply doubt that the Russian government has played a significant role in this, “the letter said.

The Post’s editorial board pointed out that the letter to intelligence officials was written just five days after the first story in the paper revealed lucrative details about the alleged Biden family corruption. The board noted that neither Hunter Biden nor then-Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden denied the veracity of the details in The Post’s report, but simply turned away when asked about the reports.

“Didn’t these security experts think that if this was a hoax, the Biden campaign would shout in heaven that the story was a lie?” The editorial board mentioned.

“Meanwhile, although the letter was advertised as being signed by people who worked for the president of both political parties, most of the officials were Democrats,” the board continued.

“Politico picked up the letter and used the false headline, ‘Hunter Biden’s story told by Russian Disinfo, dozens of former Intel executives.’ That headline is still online today, although the letter made it clear that they did not know if it was a Russian confusion, “the editorial added.

“The headline was tweeted by a group of Democrats, including current White House spokeswoman Jane Sackie, as proof that it was all a mistake. That tweet still exists despite being proven false,” it continued.

“Thus the pure conjecture of a group of biased officials has become a gospel in the media. It was ‘fake news’ and could be safely ignored.

The editorial cites Big Tech’s involvement, reminding readers that Twitter has banned the paper from being able to post anything more, claiming that the information was “hacked content” without evidence of the allegations. Facebook also told The Post that it would censor those reports unless they were “data-checked” by a third party, which never happened.

“Thus, Big Tech, former government officials and the media conspired together to bury a story,” the editorial continued. In short, they run online propaganda to influence an election. “

“Do those who tried to overthrow the 2020 election feel remorse for their actions?” The post has reached those who signed the letter. Most will not answer the question. A few double-down, including [former DNI James] Applause. No regrets. No shame. And I don’t want any apology, “the editorial added.
