Miami Beach officials have declared a state of emergency following the shootings over a weekend break in South Beach.
The state of emergency will take effect on Thursday, the Miami Beach City manager said, according to WSVN.
Officials have also imposed a midnight curfew starting Wednesday night.

City officials in Miami Beach have declared a state of emergency over the weekend, which included shelling and an irresistible spring break in the South Beach recreation district.
Miami Beach City Manager Alina T. “We want to declare a public emergency effective Thursday,” Hudak said.
Mayor Dan Gelbar, along with city commissioners, made the official announcement outside Miami Beach City Hall around 4 p.m.
“If you want to see what a very frustrated and angry mayor looks like, you’re looking at him,” Gelbar said.
Gelbar also announced new crowd control measures for the remainder of the spring break.
“It’s going to enforce a midnight curfew, starting Wednesday night, at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, going through the weekend,” Gelbar said. “It’s not your parents’ spring break. It’s completely different. “

South Beach officials worked to avoid last year’s riots and enforced a new law that limits alcohol sales after 2 p.m.
Despite increased police presence and additional measures to prevent violence, gunfire erupted on Ocean Drive from midnight on Saturday to Sunday morning.
Spring breakers heard gunshots and ran for their lives.
The three were shot and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, police said.
