Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against Trump in an attempt to protect presidential documents from the House Select Committee on Jan. 6, claiming executive privileges.

“The court’s decision to formally reject Trump’s appeal follows its January 19 order that the documents be handed over by the federal agency to the House of Representatives inquiry committee that preserves official and historical records,” Yahoo News reported at the time.

“The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit upheld a Dec. 9 lower court ruling that Trump has no grounds to challenge President Joe Biden’s decision to allow the records to be transferred to the House Select Committee of Representatives. Trump then appealed to the Supreme Court, “the report said.
