Criticizes Todd Barr for calling Left “dangerous” … after comparing Trump to Putin

During a Sunday interview with former Attorney General Bill Barr on NBC Meet the press, Host Chuck Todd was surprised when a Trump administration official declared the far-left base of the Democratic Party “dangerous.” What made Todd’s hyperventilation worse was the fact that he had compared former President Trump to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin just moments earlier.

“I believe that the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is dangerous for the United States.” Bar told Todd while discussing the upcoming 2024 presidential election. The NBC host cried in reply: “It simply came to our notice then. It is uncomfortable to hear from anyone who needs to be given equal justice under the law as Attorney General. ”

This is quite a change from Todd’s attitude towards Barack Obama’s wildly biased Attorney General Eric Holder. After Holder announced that he was leaving the Judiciary in 2014, Todd ridiculously praised: .. ”

On Sunday, Todd continues to advise Barr: “Do you really think that leftists in this country are more dangerous than some of the world’s problems?” The bar pushed back: “No, I just said in terms of the country’s leadership, I think they would be a dangerous choice for the United States.”

Despite being so “uncomfortable” with labeling the left as “dangerous” just seconds before the talks, there was no problem comparing Trump to “totalitarian leaders” like Todd Putin. After Barr criticized Trump for relying on “yes men”, Todd took things too far:

It is a symbol of many omnipotent leaders, authoritarian leaders. They want to be surrounded by people who tell them what they want to hear. We are now working with Putin on this. Doesn’t that give you a break from his ability to be Commander-in-Chief again?

Barr responded: “Well, I don’t support his reconstruction – you know, to be nominated as the ideal carrier in ’24 and I’m going to support someone else.”

Still, Todd shouted that the bar “shocked many people” by saying that he would finally support anyone nominated by the Republican president in 2024 – including Trump. The frustrated host said: “… because you have spent so much time in your books portraying this person as unfit for office … and making it clear that he, himself, has a mood problem, he has a character problem and yet, Joe Will you take any risk on Biden again?

“Well, I think there are a lot of Americans out there right now who would like to stay – bring him back to office rather than what we see under Biden,” Barr noted. That’s when he warned Democrats about the “dangerous” leftist agenda.

Repeatedly annoyed NBC reporters last week, especially when he denounced the investigation of nothing-burger Robert Mueller as a “lie that pushes the media.” Night news Anchor Lester Holt and Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie.

Todd: And it makes it clear that he himself, he has a mood problem, he has a character problem, and yet, would you risk it again on Joe Biden?

Barr: Well, I think there are a lot of Americans out there now who would love to stay – to get him back in office rather than what we see under Biden.

Todd: I understand that. But I’m talking about you. You have first – but you have a first hand account. You saw it up close.

BARR: Okay, I think the selection is a binary choice. And you often – and unfortunately sometimes it chooses less than two bad ones. I believe that the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is dangerous for the United States.

Todd: You said it quite a bit. As an attorney general, it is uncomfortable to hear from someone who needed to be given equal justice under the law. Because you said that when you were Attorney General. Do you really think leftists in this country are more dangerous than some of the world’s problems? I mean, you think-

Bar: No, I just said in terms of the country’s leadership, I think they would be a dangerous choice for the United States. And, you know, in our system, the person in charge of administering criminal law is a politically responsible official. And an official has to be politically accountable, but at the same time dedicated to providing equal justice on the basis of law and information without any bias or bias, which I have done.
