Caitlin Jenner subdues swimmer Leah Thomas

Caitlin Jenner is a strange person. He was transformed into a Shia in 2015 and has been an outspoken supporter of trans rights in recent years, but yesterday Jenner made a statement that has been troubling some trans people.

Jenner quoted an article featuring Florida Gov. Ron Descentis as tweeting that the real winner of the 500-yard final at the NCAA Swimming Championships was Florida native Emma Wayant. Surprisingly, Jenner did not question Descent’s position, nor did he sincerely support it.

Many Americans need to take note of what has just happened.

A transgender man has just come out and blasted the fact that a man who wants to be a woman is competing and beating women in women’s sports. He is not just saying this is wrong, he is saying that it is common sense. Even anyone living their lives in transgender confusion can say that what Thomas is doing should not be praised, celebrated or allowed.

That means everyone else, whether conservative, progressive, or somewhere in the middle, must also see Thomas’ actions: they are disgusting in every sense of the word. There is no middle ground, no way to justify Thomas’s actions, no sympathy for this illusion.

Thomas needs to stop tolerating that ideal. Ironically, even transgender people get it.
