Bozel: ‘The news media is so arrogant’ they never admit that they are wrong

Appeared on Newsmax Spicer & Co. On Monday evening, Brent Bozel, president of the Media Research Center, blasted the leftist media for being “so arrogant” that they never admit they are wrong and “never launch one of their own.” He further discussed how liberal comedians also began to criticize the weak Biden administration, pointing out that the president’s unpopularity had “really entered America’s bloodstream.”

Host Shawn Spicer called Michael McFaul, Obama’s former U.S. ambassador to Russia and a contributor to NBC News, on MSNBC and falsely declared that “the difference between Hitler coming and Putin” is that Hitler did not kill ethnic Germans. ” Spicer mentioned:

The most interesting thing about it is the following – you know, on Sunday, he left and appeared on NBC Meet the press. Chuck Todd didn’t even acknowledge what Ambassador McFull had said. In fact, just literally started talking about Ukraine it asked his opinion. For this, McFaul was killed online. There is no mention of this in NBC.

Bozel said: “… you know, some people are born stupid. Some people do it. And if you work hard enough, apparently, you can be an ambassador. And if Todd works a little harder, he can be an ambassador. . ”

He then called the history of allowing NBC staff to spread lies: “… this is the network that has been doing this for years. I have two words, Brian Williams. You know, he did what he did, he made up stories, he was a news anchor on NBC. So that’s how the network works. “

Spicer observed: “… it was not covered on NBC. He is a contributor. It wasn’t covered anywhere else. No, there is no politics. No CNN. Elsewhere they … did not mention what a former Russian ambassador said about it.

Bozell hit leftist media outlets that never refused to admit wrongdoing:

One of the great virtues of human beings is the ability to recognize their own mistakes and apologize for them. This is a country that loves when one can say politely enough, I did something wrong. The news media is so arrogant that they will never launch their own one and call for one of their own. Never.

Spicer agrees: “It’s true. That’s a really good point. And you’re right, as we said, he’s one of them. So he has been kept on different criteria. ”

Before the discussion, Spicer highlighted: “Even late night host Trevor Noah indicates how embarrassing it is that the UAE is screening and not accepting or returning Biden’s phone calls.” Noah, a Soundbite, admits: “But there is no denying that man, Saudi Arabia is not playing ball with Joe Biden anyway. And you know what? You can say whatever you want. But that would never have happened in the case of Donald Trump. Never. “

Spicer announced: “Trevor Noah is like an extension of the White House press office, you know … but he’s on Trump’s side, making it very clear that this would not have happened if it had been in Donald Trump’s eyes. “

Bozel explained:

You know, at MRC, we’ve had a rule for many years that a story is important when late night comedians make fun of it. When it comes down to that level, it has really entered America’s bloodstream. So when you see something like Trevor Noah the other day, he is reflecting something that is really happening in this country. These comedians have spent the last four years without a sense of humor. Donald Trump is doing nothing but spreading bile on his body. What he is saying at the moment is really a reflection of the fact that America is watching – I don’t care who you are, America – America is looking at this President vs. the last President, saying, “Now, during a war, if I were our last President.

Here is a transcript of Bozel’s March 14 appearance:

6:36 PM ET

Trevor Noah: But there is no denying that, man, Saudi Arabia is not playing ball with Joe Biden. And you know what? You can say whatever you want. But that would never have happened in the case of Donald Trump. Never.

Sean Spicer: Well, it’s not a good sign when you lose one of your biggest defenders. Even late night host Trevor Noah hinted at how embarrassing it was that the UAE was screening and not accepting or returning Biden’s phone calls.

But whenever the administration faces a difficult situation, what do they do? They go out and they make TikTok videos. That’s right, last week, they leaked original national security intelligence to 30 TikTok makers.

Brent Bozell, president of Media Research Center tonight, and Carrie Sheffield, senior policy analyst at the Independent Women’s Forum, responded. Nice to meet you two.

(…)

Spicer: Trevor Noah is an extension of the White House press office, you know. He is literally headlining a dinner for White House reporters this year. And basically Joe will say all the nice things about Biden and use it to hit Donald Trump. But he has sided with Trump on the issue, making it very clear that it would not have happened if it had been in Donald Trump’s eyes. I mean, how big of a deal is it that you’ve got this late night indomitable man who protects Joe Biden at every turn, on Trump’s side?

(…)

Lindsay Keith: Brent, I’m surprised to see some of these comedians who don’t make fun of the left so easily. Even the Saturday Night Live weekend evaded the White House tick-tock meeting on Friday. They even made fun of Hunter Biden. It really, really shocked me. I would say, Shawn and I were talking about this before, the Republicans didn’t even mention the Hunter Biden, Ukraine connection. Why do you think that? You have SNL to cover it, but not Republicans.

Brent Bozel: You know, at MRC, we’ve had a rule for many years that a story is important when late night comedians make fun of it.

Spicer: Yes. Hey, Carrie, Michael McFaul, Obama’s former ambassador to Russia, was on Rachel Maduro’s show last week and he said the following, Listen.

Michael McFaul: One of the Russian journalists said, you know, there is a difference between Hitler when he came and between Putin. Hitler did not kill ethnic Germans. He did not kill German-speaking people.

Spicer: Now, Carrie, this is a false statement.

(…)

KEITH: You know, Brent, there’s an interesting thing here, in fact McFaul is an NBC contributor. So you know, I don’t think they want to look bad. They don’t want to put pressure on their own people and embarrass themselves for his comments the night before, and that’s why sadly you don’t want to talk to them about it.

Bozel: Of course, of course. Some people – you know, some people are born stupid. Some people do it. And if you work hard enough, apparently, you can be an ambassador. And if Todd works a little harder, he could be an ambassador. No, no, it’s a network – it’s a network that has been around for years. I have two words, Brian Williams. You know, he did what he did, he made up stories, he was a news anchor on NBC. So that’s the way that network works.

Spicer: You know, Carrie, something that was very interesting to me – and I admit, I stepped into it myself and faced its wrath – you know, Lindsay highlighted the fact that it wasn’t covered on NBC. He is a contributor. It wasn’t covered anywhere else. No, there is no politics. No CNN. Elsewhere, they are not joking – mention what a former Russian ambassador said.

(…)

Bozel: Can I add something to that show very quickly?

Spicer: Quick, yes.

Bozel: Especially what Carrie said. What you said at the beginning of your question is very clear. You said, “You know, sometimes I step into it.” Whatever it is, you keep it. One of the great virtues of man is his ability to recognize his own mistakes and apologize for them. It’s a country that loves when someone can be humble enough to say, I did something wrong. The news media is so arrogant that they will never launch one of their own and call one of their own for it. Never.

Spicer: That’s true. That’s a really good point. And you’re right, as we said, he’s one of them. So he has been kept on different criteria. Brent, Carrie, great point. Thank you both very much.

Bozel: Thank you.
