Again ?! Reid has melted away as Biden Scotus faces nominated GOP

For the second night in a row, MSNBC’s Readout Host Joy Reid showed how easily she triggered when people of her choice were challenged for their past statements and records. Reid spent most of the second half of Wednesday night’s program attacking Republican senators who dared to question Biden Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for his record of light punishment for pedophiles.
Reid walks out of gate to sue Republicans in Senate Judiciary Committee “Maga Base” By upbringing “All hot buttons cultural wedge problem.” Reid then complained to Republicans that they did not want to address any cultural issues, such as critical race theory or transgender endocrinology:
None of these senators have plans or legislation on any of these because, frankly, they don’t care about any of them. Or they will not do anything about it using their power. But they know that their base is really excited about the critical race theory and questions about racist children and the softening of black people towards crime and the accusations about right-wing Christian persecution and QAnon.
Reid was particularly annoyed that Senator Marsha Blackburn would ask Judge Jackson if he could define the word “woman.” “Tennessee’s genius outside asked her to define the term woman. A question that was never asked of a previous Supreme Court nominee.”
It’s clear why Reid was furious, waking up after Jackson refused to define something so simple. Reid presumably never publicized that exchange.
After returning from a trade break, he personally attacked Senators Josh Howley (R-MO) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) whom he called “Fist Josh in Hawaii, and Tom Cotton, a descendant of slaves.” He accused both senators of using it “QAnon Judge Ketanji is baiting Brown Jackson.”
Reed says GOP senators “Constantly saying child pornography because they know it triggers QAnon and they want to vote Republicans.” Which is definitely a lie.
The unhinged host then ridiculously claimed that Judge Jackson “She was treated like Anita Hill. She was treated like Christine Blessy Ford. Because she is a woman, she could not behave like Kavanagh.” Proving once again that everything is about race for Joy Reid, he argued that black women should “always behave as adults” while white men could. “Behave like a child and still go as far as we can or beyond.”

7:37:26 pm EastJOY REID: And to stoke the MAGA basis, we’ve heard all the Hot Button Cultural Wage issues regardless of the relevance of Judge Jackson’s actual role in court. And despite the important fact that none of these senators have or plan to legislate on any of these because, frankly, they don’t care about any of them. Or they will not do anything about it using their power. But they know that their base is really excited about the critical race theory and questions about racist children and the softening of black people towards crime and the accusations about right-wing Christian persecution and QAnon. To that end, Lindsay Graham even asked Judge Jackson to rate her righteousness on a scale of 1 to 10. Tennessee’s genius asked her to define the word female. A question has never been asked to a nominee before the Supreme Court. And let’s not forget, the score-fixing about the old complaints and the hearings held for their past nominees. Senator Graham has made some complaints for the third day in a row.

REID: Today, two of the most insane Senate Republicans, Josh Howley, you know, Josh, and Tom Cotton, a descendant of slaves, responded to their QAnon batting smear against Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Drill down on his punishment in a special case involving child pornography. Although as proof of his irresistible ability. Judge Jackson did not back down.

REID: Well they don’t legislate. Because they are just actors. And they’re trying right now, Joyce, to perform, as you say, for their foundation. That’s right. QAnon for people. They keep saying child pornography because they know it triggers QAnon and they want them to vote Republicans. I mean, it’s very simple. We know what they are doing. But I am struck by the fact that a woman who was a judge who is already a very respected legal mind that everyone agrees because they put her on the bench, on the federal bench. She was basically treated like Anita Hill. He was treated like Christine Blessy Ford. Because she’s a woman, she couldn’t act like Kavanagh. And I think what the lawyers say for women, for black women, the ideal for us is that we should always behave as adults. The norm for white men is that they can behave like a child and still go to us as much as possible or more. They sent a very clear message. Lindsay Graham, all the little mindsplanners, all the little Confederacy crew that really sounds like the 19th century. They can behave that way because there are no barriers on them because of who they are.
