On Tuesday, the White House press secretary tested positive for Covid-19 – again!

Saki had previously tested positive for covid last October and felt ‘mild symptoms’.

Saki said he had two “socially distance” meetings with Joe Biden on Monday.

Joe Biden tested negative for Covid-19 through a PCR test on Tuesday, Saki said in his announcement on Twitter.

“Today, in preparation for the trip to Europe, I took a PCR test this morning. That test came back positive, which means I will abide by the CDC guidelines and no longer travel during the President’s European tour. Saki said on Tuesday afternoon.

“Thanks to the vaccine, I only felt mild symptoms. In line with the White House COVID-19 protocol, I will work from home and plan to return to work in person after a five-day isolation period and the conclusion of a negative test.” Saki said.
